Cancer knows no bounds of gender, age, or race - it impacts everyone.  In 2025, more than 2 million new cancer cases will be diagnosed in the US alone, and 618,120 people will die.  That's more than 1 person every minute dying because of this terrible disease.  

The Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation (CARES) is proud to partner with the Downtown Detroit Partnership to present the 8th Annual Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer™ Detroit!  Proceeds from this event will support CARES' national cancer research and our healthcare partners here in Michigan, the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute.
